Archiving and Repository Policy

Long-term preservation

Content published in the journal is preserved in LOCKSS-based distributed archives through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) service of Open Journal Systems. If the journal ceases publication or its website becomes unavailable, the content remains accessible through PKP PN.

Persistent identifiers and metadata

Every article and issue receives a DOI through Crossref (prefix 10.7816). Article metadata are available through OAI-PMH and are indexed in databases such as DOAJ, ERIH PLUS and CEEOL (see Indexing and Databases).

Repository (self-archiving) policy

  • Submitted version (preprint): may be posted on preprint servers before submission or during review.
  • Accepted version: may be shared after acceptance without embargo.
  • Published version: may be deposited without embargo, in accordance with the article's licence, in institutional and subject repositories, on personal websites and on academic networks.

Every shared version should cite the journal and link to the article's DOI. If a preprint was posted, the DOI link should be added to the preprint record after publication.
