Öz
Çalışmanın temel amacı, kadın cinayetlerinin kadınlar üzerindeki etkisini duygulanım, cinsiyetçilik ve travma bağlamında incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmaya 18-35 yaş arasında tamamı kadın olmak üzere 96 katılımcı dahil edilmiştir. Laboratuvar koşullarında katılımcılara Çelişik Duygulu Cinsiyetçilik Ölçeği (ÇDCÖ), Pozitif ve Negatif Duygu Ölçeği (PANAS), Travma Sonrası Stres Bozukluğu Kontrol Listesi (TSSBKL), Durumluk Öfke Ölçeği (DÖÖ) sunulmuştur. 48 saatlik bir zaman diliminin ardından katılımcılar yeniden laboratuvara gelmiş ve katılımcılara kadın cinayetlerine yönelik bir video sunulmuştur. Video manipülasyonundan sonra katılımcılara TSSBKL, ÇDCÖ, DÖÖ ve PANAS ölçekleri yeniden sunulmuştur. Katılımcılardan ön test son test olmak üzere ölçüm alındığından istatistiksel yöntem olarak bağımlı grup t test analizi yürütülmüştür. Bulgular incelediğinde video manipülasyonundan sonra katılımcıların durumluk öfke, korumacı cinsiyetçilik ve negatif duygu puanları anlamlı olarak artış göstermiştir. Katılımcıların pozitif duygu ve düşmanca cinsiyetçilik puanları anlamlı düzeyde azalmıştır. Sonuç olarak kadın cinayetlerinin medyadaki yerinin artırılması önemli bulunmuştur. Negatif duygulanım ve öfke, kadınların kadın cinayetleri karşısında feminist harekete katılımı için bir motivasyon kaynağı olarak ele alınmıştır. Düşmanca cinsiyetçilikteki azalma, kadınların birbirlerine olan desteğinin arttığını gösterse de korumacı cinsiyetçilikteki artış kadınların yardım alma, şiddetten korunma davranışları için yine patriarkal sisteme başvurma eğiliminde oldukları şeklinde yorumlanmıştır.
