Öz
Bu çalışmada evli çiftlerin evlilik ilişkilerinde deneyimledikleri belirsizlikleri ölçmek amacıyla geliştirilmiş olan Evlilikte İlişkisel Belirsizlik Ölçeği’nin (EİBÖ) (Knobloch, 2008) psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya yaşları 22-68 arasında (Ort. = 36.70, SS = 6.39) değişen ve en az 1 yıldır evli olan 353 birey katılmıştır. Ölçeğin alt boyutlarının Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayıları .91 ile .95 arasında değişmektedir. Ek olarak, ölçeğin yakınsak ve ıraksak geçerliğini sınamak amacıyla Belirsizliğe Tahammülsüzlük Ölçeği (Carleton ve ark., 2007) ve Evlilik Yaşam Ölçeği (Tezer, 1996) kullanılmış ve incelenen ilişkilerin anlamlı ve beklendik yönde olduğu görülmüştür. Uyarlama çalışmasında ölçeğin faktör yapısının özgün formdan bazı açılardan farklılaştığı gözlenmiştir. Bu bulgunun da kültürel bağlam ve toplulukçuluk eğilimleriyle ilişkili olabileceği tartışılmıştır. Mevcut çalışmanın test-tekrar test güvenirliği incelenirken örneklem büyüklüğünün oldukça düşük olması ve cinsiyet dağılımının dengeli olmaması gibi bazı sınırlılıkları da vardır. Sonuç olarak bulgular, Evlilikte İlişkisel Belirsizlik Ölçeği Türkçe formunun ülkemizde evliliklerle ilgili yürütülen çalışmalarda kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.
