Öz

Pandemi döneminde yaşanan sosyal izolasyon, kısıtlamalar, sağlıkla ilgili endişeler ve destek ağlarının zayıflaması gibi etmenlerin hem doğum öncesi hem de doğum sonrası süreçte yeni anneler üzerinde olumlu ve olumsuz etkileri olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu nedenle COVID-19 döneminde annenin bakım verme yükümlülükleri, ilişkileri ve yeni annelikle baş etme gibi konulardaki deneyimlerinin derinlemesine incelenmesi önemlidir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada COVID-19 döneminde yeni anne olanların deneyimleri hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada pandemi döneminde ilk kez anne olan 16 kadın katılımcıdan, yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yoluyla bilgi edinilmiştir. Katılımcıların yaşları 26 ile 38 (Ort. = 32, S = 3.48) arasında değişmektedir. Araştırmacılar tarafından kadınların COVID-19 döneminde ilk kez anne olma ile ilgili deneyimleri, pandemi döneminin aile yaşantıları üzerindeki etkileri, COVID-19 pandemisinde baş etme stratejileri ve bebek bakım sürecinde sosyal destek alıp almadıkları gibi konular hakkında derinlemesine bilgi sahibi olmak amacıyla 14 soru oluşturulmuştur. Görüşmeler çevrim içi platformlarda bireysel olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Kodlayıcılar arası güvenirliğin .81 ile .91 arasında değiştiği bulunmuştur. Sonuçlar, COVID-19 döneminde ilk kez anne olmanın ve çalışan anne olmanın bazı zorluklarına işaret etmiştir. Annelerin sıklıkla aktif baş etme stratejileri kullandığı ve en sık kök aileden ve eşten sosyal destek aldığı görülmüştür. Dahası, katılımcıların çoğu pandemi sürecinden baba-bebek ilişkilerinin olumlu etkilendiğini belirtmiştir. Anneler pandemi döneminde maddi kayıp, duygusal zorluk ve sosyal desteğe ulaşmada sıkıntı yaşadıklarını belirtmişler ve bu dönemde ilk kez anne olmanın zorluklarına dikkat çekmişlerdir
