Öz
İş yaşamı ve özel yaşam arasındaki dengenin bireylerin öznel yaş algıları ile ilişkisini araştırmayı hedefleyen bu çalışmada, Kaynakların Korunumu Teorisi’nden yola çıkılarak, iş yaşamı-özel yaşam dengesinin (İÖD) alt boyutları olan iş yaşamı-özel yaşam çatışması (İÖÇ) ile özel yaşam-iş yaşamı çatışmasının (ÖİÇ) bireylerin kendilerini kronolojik yaşlarından daha genç hissetme düzeyleri ile negatif ve anlamlı ilişkide, iş yaşamı-özel yaşam zenginleşmesinin (İÖZ) ise pozitif ve anlamlı ilişkide olması beklenmiştir. Örneklem, 166 kadın (%54), 142 erkek (%46) katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Yaş ortalamaları 41.20 (S=10.19), toplam çalışma sürelerinin ortalaması ise 18.04 (S=10.60) olan örneklemin %92’si tam zamanlı (n=283), %8’i ise yarı zamanlı olarak (n=26) çalıştığını beyan etmiştir. Uygulanan basit doğrusal regresyon analizleri hipotezleri desteklemiş, İÖÇ ve ÖİÇ’nin bireylerin olduklarından daha yaşlı hissetmelerini, İÖZ’nin ise daha genç hissetmelerini sağlayabileceğini destekleyen bulgular elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular Kaynakların Korunumu Teorisi ve değişkenlerle ilgili güncel araştırmalar çerçevesinde değerlendirilerek tartışılmıştır. Tartışma bölümünde endüstri ve örgüt psikolojisi perspektifinden olası pratik uygulama ve gelecek araştırma önerilerine de yer verilmiştir.
