Öz
Bu araştırma, 2015 yılında yapılan milletvekili seçimleriyle Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'nde temsil hakkı kazanmış muhalif siyasi partilerin destekçileriyle yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın amacı kişilerin yerel iç-grup (desteklenen siyasi partinin destekçileri) ve geniş iç-grup (Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşları) ile ilişkilerini incelemek ve iç-grup üyelerini korumak ya da iç-grubun mevcut şartlarını iyileştirmek amacıyla kavga etmek ya da kendi hayatını feda etmek gibi aşırı davranışları destekleme eğilimini Kimlik Kaynaşımı Kuramı temelinde test etmektir. Bu doğrultuda, Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP; N = 320), Halkların Demokratik Partisi (HDP; N = 215) ve Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi (MHP; N = 150) destekçilerinden veri toplanmıştır. Kişinin siyasi parti kimliğine bağlı olarak, araştırma değişkenleri üzerinde anlamlı grup farkları görülmüştür. Genel olarak, yerel iç-grup-temelli sosyal psikolojik süreçler sırasıyla HDP, MHP ve CHP destekçileri örnekleminde daha güçlüyken, geniş iç-grup-temelli sosyal psikolojik süreçler sırasıyla MHP, CHP ve HDP destekçileri örnekleminde daha kuvvetlidir. Ek olarak, yerel iç-gruba ve geniş iç-gruba dayalı sosyal psikolojik süreçler CHP ve MHP destekçileri örneklemlerinde birbiriyle pozitif yönde ilişkiliyken, HDP örnekleminde bu ilişkiler anlamsızdır. Yerel iç-grupla kimlik kaynaşımı yerel iç-grup ve geniş iç-grup yararına sergilenen aşırı davranışları destekleme hali üzerinde üç örneklemde de pozitif yönde dolaylı (aracılı) ilişkiler göstermiştir. Araştırma bulguları ilgili alanyazını tamamlayıcı niteliktedir ve aşırı grup-yanlısı davranışları açıklayan görece yeni bir kuramsal yaklaşım sunmaktadır.Anahtar kelimeler
