Öz
Mahremiyet, kişinin özel alanında diğer insanlar tarafından rahatsız edilmeden kalabilmesidir. Mahremiyet ihlali ise kişinin özel alanına diğer insanların izinsiz müdahaleleridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı ergenlerin anne babalarından algıladıkları mahremiyet ihlalini değerlendirmek için kullanılan Mahremiyet İhlali Ölçeği’nin (MİÖ) Türkiye örnekleminde uyarlamasının yapılarak güvenirlik ve geçerliğinin araştırılmasıdır. Çalışmaya yaşları 12 ile 18 arasında değişen 621’i kız (%51.3) ve 590’u erkek (%48.7) toplam 1211 (Ort. = 14.93, S = 2.01) ergen birey katılmıştır. Faktör analizi sonuçlarına bakıldığında önerilen düzeltme indeksleri doğrultusunda 5. madde ile 2. madde ve 6. madde ile 4. maddenin hataları birbirleriyle ilişkilendirilmiş ve üretilen yeni modelin veriye çok iyi uyum sağladığı görülmüştür. Uyum indeks değerleri anneler için χ2 (8, N = 1211) = 2.583, p > .05, χ2/df = .32, GFI = .99, AGFI = .99, NFI = .99, CFI = 1.00, RMSEA = .00; babalar için χ2 (7, N = 1211) = 7.326, p > .05, χ2/df = 1.05, GFI = .99, AGFI = .99, NFI = .99, CFI = 1.00, RMSEA = .00 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin iç tutarlılık katsayıları anneler için .75, babalar için .73 olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışmada MİÖ’nün ölçüt geçerliğini değerlendirmek amacıyla, Kısa Semptom Envanteri’nin Depresyon alt boyutu kullanılmıştır. Hem annelerden hem de babalardan algılanan mahremiyet ihlalinin depresyon ile ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Bulgular, MİÖ’nün ergenin anne ve babasından algıladığı davranışları değerlendirmede kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğunu göstermiştir.
