Öz
Feminizm araştırmaları, psikoloji, sosyoloji, kadın çalışmaları, edebiyat gibi çok sayıda farklı disiplin çerçevesinde uzun yıllardır yapılmaktadır. Ancak bir sosyal grup olarak feministlerin beraberinde getirdiği feminist kimlik kavramı çetrefilli ve tartışmalı bir konu başlığı olarak güncel bir kavramdır. Türkiye düzleminde yapılan araştırmalar incelendiğinde feminist kimliğin bilimsel çalışmalarda henüz yeterli bir yer bulamadığı görülmektedir. Türkiye çeşitli feminist grupların kendine özgü değerler temelinde kadın hareketine destek verdiği heterojen bir örneklem olarak değerlendirilebilir. Türkiye’ye özgü toplumsal dinamikler çerçevesinde feminist kimliğin ulusal düzeyde tanımlanması ve görgül araştırmalarda kültürel farklılıklara duyarlı bir yaklaşım sergilenmesi gerekmektedir. Feminist kimlik, hem bireysel, hem toplumsal düzeyde toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği açısından anlaşılması ve tartışılması gereken önemli bir konudur. Kimlikler konusunda güçlü kuramlarla donanmış psikoloji biliminin bu tartışmalara önemli katkılar sunabileceği düşünülerek, bu derleme çalışmasında feminist kimlik sosyal psikolojik bir bakış açısıyla irdelenmiştir. Ayrıca, Türkiye’de feminist kimliğe ilişkin özgün dinamikler bu çalışmanın temel argümanlarıyla ilişkilendirilerek özetlenmiştir.
