Öz
Bu çalışma psikoterapi uzmanlarının ve psikoterapist adaylarının psikoterapi sürecinin bazı öğelerine yönelik farkındalıklarına ilişkin çeşitli çalışmaları özetlemekte ve ilgili konulara ilişkin farkındalığı arttırma amacı taşıyan önerileri içermektedir. Psikoterapi sürecinin olası olumsuz sonuçlarından olan psikoterapiyi yarıda bırakma, değişimin olmaması ve kötüye gidiş konularında psikoterapistlerin farkındalık düzeylerinin düşük olması zaman zaman bazı sorunlar yaşanabileceğine işaret etmektedir. Psikoterapiyi yarıda bırakan danışanların değişim ve gelişim konusunda yardım alma sürecinden uzak kalmaları hem kendilerine hem de psikoterapi hizmeti sunan kurum ve uzmanlara olumsuz etkileri olan bir olgudur. Benzer biçimde, psikoterapi süreci sırasında kötüye gidiş, başta danışanlar için olmak üzere çeşitli olumsuz sonuçlara neden olabilmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında öncelikle olumsuz sonuçlara neden olabilecek çeşitli kaynaklara ilişkin bilgi sunulacak, ardından psikoterapi uzmanlarının, tedavi sürecine etkisi olabilecek olası kaynakların farkında olmak ve bu sorun kaynaklarına müdahale edebilecek yetkinliği kazanmaya çalışmak için neler yapabileceği özetlenecektir. Bu bağlamda psikoterapi sonucunun düzenli takibi, bilinçli farkındalık ve terapötik ittifak odaklı eğitim ve müdahalelere yönelik öneriler sunulacaktır.
