Öz
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeğinin (TCAÖ) ergenlerde geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmalarını yapmaktadır. Çalışmanın bir diğer amacı ise lise öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet algısının cinsiyet, okul türü, ailenin aylık ortalama geliri, annenin çalışma durumu ve ebeveynlerin eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmaya 823 lise öğrencisi (451 kadın, 372 erkek) katılmıştır. Test-tekrar test çalışması ise 823 öğrenciden 118’i ile yapılmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini incelemek için yapılan Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) sonucunda orijinal ölçekten farklı olarak iki faktörlü bir model ortaya çıkmıştır. İki faktörlü hipotetik modele ilişkin uyum iyiliği indeksleri, χ2=500.15, df=168, χ2/df=2.97, GFI=.92, AGFI=.90, CFI=.91, RMSEA=0.06, SRMR= .05 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçek maddeleri için üst %27 ve alt %27’lik grupların puan ortalamaları arasındaki farklılıklar istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur. Cronbach alfa katsayısı eşitlikçi toplumsal cinsiyet algısı boyutu için .80 ve geleneksel toplumsal cinsiyet algısı boyutu için .86 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin iki hafta arayla 118 lise öğrencisine uygulanmasıyla elde edilen test-tekrar test güvenirlik katsayısı eşitlikçi toplumsal cinsiyet algısı boyutunda .73 ve geleneksel toplumsal cinsiyet algısı boyutunda .80 olarak hesaplamıştır. Bu sonuçlara göre TCAÖ’ nün ergen formunun yeterli düzeyde geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik değerlerine sahip olduğu görülmektedir. Lise öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet algısı cinsiyet, okul türü, ailenin aylık ortalama geliri, annenin çalışma durumu ve ebeveynlerin eğitim durumu değişkenlerine göre farklılaşmaktadır. Sonuç olarak TCAÖ, ergenlerin toplumsal cinsiyet algısına yönelik yürütülecek araştırmalarda kullanılabilir.
