Öz

Bu çalışmada çocukların zihin kuramı ve kendini düzenleme becerisinin yardım davranışları üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma, yaşları 36-59 ay arasında olan toplam 104 çocuk üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Yardım davranışı, araçsal yardım etme görevi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Zihin kuramının ölçümünde Zihin Kuramı Ölçeği görevleri; kendini düzenleme becerisinin ölçümünde ise kalem tıklatma görevi kullanılmıştır. Çocukların alıcı dil becerilerini kontrol etmek için Türkçe İfade Edici ve Alıcı Dil Testi (TİFALDİ) uygulanmıştır. Analizler sonucunda zihin kuramı ve kendini düzenleme becerisinin çocukların yardım davranışları ile ilişkili olduğu; ancak yaş ve alıcı dil kontrol edildiğinde çocukların yardım davranışlarındaki değişkenliği en iyi açıklayan değişkenin kendini düzenleme becerisinin değil zihin kuramının olduğu görülmüştür. Bulgular yardım davranışının açıklanmasına katkıda bulunan zihin kuramı ve kendini düzenleme becerilerinin oynamış olduğu roller ile ilişkilendirilerek, literatür bulguları ışığında tartışılmıştır.
