Öz
Young (1990) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan, geleneksel bilişsel-davranışçı kavramların ve tedavilerin önemli derecede genişletildiği yenilikçi-bütünleyici bir yaklaşım olan Şema Terapi Modeli (ŞTM), şemaların gelişimsel olarak şekillendiğini öne sürer. Erken dönem uyumsuz şemalarla psikopatoloji arasında kuramsal açıdan bir bağ bulunmaktadır. Bu yazıda, ŞTM çerçevesinde Kaygı Bozuklukları, Obsesif-Kompulsif Bozukluk (OKB) ve Travma Sonrası Stres Bozukluğu (TSSB) üzerine yapılan araştırmalar gözden geçirilmiş ve ele alınan psikopatolojilerle ilgili çalışmalar kuramsal arka plan ve uygulama alanındaki doğurgular kapsamında tartışılmıştır.
