Political Participation, Political Efficacy and Gender

Abstract

In this study, the relation of political participation, which is an important element of democracy, with gender and political efficacy was examined. In this context, firstly political participation, gender and political efficacy were explained, and then the impacts of gender and poitical efficacy on political participation were evaluated. In addition, the relation of gender with political afficacy was evaluated. Finally, the steps in order to make political participation more egalitarian and inclusive were discussed within the scope of the study variables.
